Residential Building Tacheles is completed
Residential Building Tacheles is a new mixed-use building with an extremely flexible floorplan, allowing residents to fully adjust the apartments to their needs. The flexibility is a consequence of strategic choices in the design:
• The expressive concrete facade is load bearing, eliminating the need for additional structural elements in the interior.
• The transparent aluminium facade has window openings every 3 metres, to which bedroom walls can be attached.
• A technical shaft for installations on each side allows for different configurations of the bathrooms.
• The ceiling has a continuous grid for light connections.
